The Boulder Daily Camera’s Heath Urie reports:
Xcel officials said Monday that they are prepared to offer the city an energy plan that would provide up to 70 percent renewable energy to Boulder within the first year of a new 20-year franchise agreement.
By 2020, the company claims, Boulder would reach 90 percent renewable energy.
LinkedIn analyzed the employment sectors which had seen the biggest increase in employment (in this case - the ones to which the most people had gone).

What the graph shows is that over the past five years, green jobs grew at over 50% - nearly double the next closest sectors. And, as we’ve shown repeatedly, that growth is likely to continue for some time to come.
